Dear Reyhana, I've lived in Luxor for less than a year now, and I really like it. What would you like to know? There's so much. Apartments are easy to get and not expensive. The people of Luxor have a reputation for being the friendliest in Egypt. I don't know where you are from and what the customs are in your country. I find that in Egypt it's important to be connected to a respectable family. Everything is easier then. There is an expat community, mostly Europeans. Some are very encouraging, others are deflating. Like everywhere, I guess. Best icecream in Egypt at Wienke's. One word of advice: If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Get in touch when you come to Luxor! Good afternoon, I've just recently moved to Luxor and really like my life here. I'm happy I found this website and now I'm wondering if any expats that live in Luxor ever have a get-together? If anyone is interested, I wouldn't mind organizing something.
