If you are stay with on arrival visa , should be aware the time limit. At this point I advise to pay the fine and get another kind of visa if you intend to stay longer.

I don't think US immigration let you bring your wife if you are not productive employee with income or you have business that earn more than standard living. It take 1 to 2 years to sponsor her and bring here to US.
