I am hoping to do the expat thing out there and am hoping to look into the IT job market (software development), anyone any idea what the market is like at the moment, the chance of working at home, average salary & what skills are favourable. any contacts would really help? Netherlands: Searching Amsterdam discount stores:

Im thinking of doing the expat thing out there and hope someone can advise me on local discount centers (Ive heard that bargains can be had). Im interested in computer hardware, furniture (chairs, tables), general living stuff (cutlery, plates etc), general electrical appliances (I hear that cookers, water tanks and other such stuff isnt always included in unfurnished digs). If anyone can offer advice on likely prices, this would also be of great help. cheers for your time
