Germany: Shipping Car to USA?:

Shipping to East Coast is much better then having it shipped to California? You might even try to get it registered in an East coast state if possible because the transfer to CA directly from another state is Much more easily accomplished. I assume the car already meets the tough standards of CA law?

Germany: Looking for a native American nanny:

We have a 32 year old friend wanting to come to your are from Georgia (US). Very reliable single female. When might you need this assitance and for how long? Thanks and please advise using irwin41@yahoo.com

Germany: Moving to Berlin advice?:

Lived in Berlin for a little more than three (3) years. No regrets and Berlin has "Night Life" beyond any other city in my life travels which are rather extensive. I assure you that you might want to stay. Happy Days !

Romania: Bucharest to Budapest Train Service - Bucuresti Nord Statiom:

Hello, Myself and my wife have Euro Rail passes and will visit Bucharest in September 18-21, 2006. Do you know if we have to have additional reservations to ride the train from Bucharest to Budapest or can we just get on and ride without pay additional? I do not know if this train is normally full or not. Bucuresti Nord Train #374 that leaves daily at 6:08AM is the one and we will be leaving on the 21st of September 2006. We are desperate for this information. Thanks and please reply to irwin41@yahoo.com if possible

Germany: Fall/Winter Move To Germany-Fresh Start:

Hi April, You should be just fine in that area. Wonderful Friendly People and close to the Black Forest. I have a friend in Boeblingen which is close to Sindelfingen that just found a Baby-Sitter after a long search. Too bad as I'm sure he and his wife would have considered you for such. Being you haven't arrived yet, maybe some other readers will offer you an opportunity and you may even luck out and get room and board and a small modest pay till you get somewhat established (although it might be in a different area of germany). Me and my Family wishes you luck in your late year move here to Germany. Andy & Gabi.. :)

Poland: Move to South Carolina:

Marcus, I would not advise Augusta that is part in Georgia and part in South Carolina unless you possibly have family in the area. Crime is very high there. Further South in Athens, Georgia (University of Georgia) or Tifton, Georgia (Named one of the best 100 towns to live in)(Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College) would be perfect.

Portugal: Spain or Portugal:

Hello, Considering the are you now live in... About how far would 75,000 to 100,000 US dollars go toward buying a modest place there?

Scotland: Move to Scotland:

If you ever find any information, please pass it along. We are also interested in moving to Scotland. Please advise of the cost of living and what a modest home my be priced at in the country-side. Thanks.
