We visited Uruguay last November. The city I thought we'd really like, Paysandu, we didn't and the place we thought we'd not care for, Punta del Este, we really did like. Now we want to come down for 1 year or longer but will have to rent a house. I know rent is high during the summer in Este, so I might be better off looking around Pan de Azucar or even as far away as Minas (liked it there too). Do you have any idea how to go about searching for a furnished house that will accept one dog and 2 adults? Of course, Este is a great location if it is affordable. Thank you.
