Mostly corporate headquarters, all major international companies have offices here. Having a network and connections is very important. It is often that one will get a call from a friend who knows about a position at his or her company and will "invite" you to apply.

Be aware, be safe. Learn the language and adapt. Don't expect the same efficient service you get in the US. Enjoy it.
