Online and Face to Face Counselling for Adults and Adolescents in English
I'm a warm and empathetic English speaking counsellor for adults and adolescents working in a supportive and kind way so that you feel heard, understood and accepted. At the same time, providing guidance and encouraging self-awareness so that you can move forward and through the difficult times you're experiencing. I'm able to work with a range of issues including; anxiety and depression, break-ups, separation and divorce, change and transition, loss, grief and bereavement, relationship and communication difficulties, work stress, abuse of power and burn-out.
I have a special interest in womens' issues and the balance between being a parent, partner, professional, mother, wife and all the other roles women have to juggle. I've been married, divorced, a working mum, a stay at home mum, re-located and in transition. Having juggled these roles and conflicting emotions, I hope to bring a depth of experience, empathy and understanding to each person I work with.
I hold an MSc in Organisational Behaviour from Birbeck College, University of London, a BA (Hons) in Communication from Leeds Metropolitan University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling from the Institute of Counselling, Glasgow, Scotland.
Having lived and worked in South Africa, Kenya, Italy and now Switzerland I wanted to provide a professional emotional support service to people living away from their home, family and friends. To do this I sent up my counselling practise from home and have been working as a therapist since 2013
