Lifelong nomadic adventurer, perpetually in search of adventure and the perfect glass of red wine, ideally together. 7 years ago my hectic career in London as a marketing professional came to a shuddering halt when in the space of 6 months I was made redundant, fell pregnant and emigrated to Cape Town.
Now newly arrived in Kenya with 3 kids in tow, my passions for writing and adventure have converged once again on this blog. It is in part confessional; detailing my experiences with anxiety together with my struggles with motherhood and life in a foreign country, part travel blog, and partly created from a desire to share my experiences with others. I hope that for someone out there the ordeals of expatriation and life in Africa might be smoothed with the some of the knowledge and understanding I’ve gained over the years.
