San carlos has a melting pot, although not as diverse as san francisco. seemes very accepting, many bi-racial children and mixed culture marriages.

High tech, we are in silicon valley

If a friend of yours was thinking of moving to this city or town from far away, what other advice would you give them.

it is a great place to raise children. The price of housing and choices of new housing is pretty intimidating--think prices of manhattan and you'll be in the ball park. The natural beauty of the area makes up for the lack of housing.
