Preschool, KG1 - K12
How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)
Most children get to school by a car. Some take the bus, or walk (if they live close enough).
How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?
They're pretty alright. There are MANY after school activities available, especially for HS students. One can even suggest making their own, if a teacher is willing to sponsor it.
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
It's helped a bit. Going from living in a country such as the states to here has been a bit hard, but the school's curriculum is pretty American and it offers IB, so it's been alright.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
There aren't many. One can monitor 'dances' and such, and there are parent-teachers meetings and such. But, that's it.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
It's a good school. If you want an American system in Kuwait, choose either AIS or ASK (american school of kuwait).
