What advice would you give someone preparing to move to your area about the actual move, choosing a neighborhood and finding a home?
My advice is to be patient. Even though there is an abundance of apartments out there, finding the right one for you takes time. There are huge variations in building maintenance, security, and amenities. It's best to come here with the expectation that it might take 3 months to find a permanent place. (Continue)
How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?
Facilities are great - very well equipped school, open, airy classes; extra-curricular activities include some of everything from music classes, sports and dancing, arts and crafts, tutoring/homework, religious classes, etc.
If a friend of yours was thinking of moving to this city or town from far away, what other advice would you give them.
In general terms people in this city are nice and kind. But you shouldn't trust everybody.
Personal Security must be in your mind everytime you go out especially if you go on foot (without car), because delinquency is a serius issue here. Subway is safer than autobus unlike other countries. And if u have to take the bus avoid western routes. Indeed avoid getting around on the west part of the city and lower class zones because are the most risky.
