Nursery to Year 9

How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)

Most live close to the school so walk or cycle. There is a mini -bus service available (at cost) for those living further out.

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

Nice secure and safe buliding. Outdoor area/ facilities are lacking but the school does the best with what it has.

Excellent range of after school activities

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

All staff are patient and understanding. Some teachers use a 'buddy' system with the children in the early days.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

School has a community centre that offers a number of activities for parents such as pilates and Dutch.

Weekly coffee mornings.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

Have a look around, be aware that the school currently operates from 3 sites (one houses nursery to Y1, another Y2 to Y4 (they are close togeher) and the 3rd the higher years. Can cause some problems with transport.
