How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

It has too much student in the school. The middle school is three stories and only one set of steps and no elevators and the children are very crowded and dangerous. The high school is sardine cage with students touching each other because so much close. There is detention after school and that is the only activities. Because of Saddam, there is no time for activities. Some pull the fire alarm for activities.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

The schools in Egypt are very hard and UAS is very easy. The teachers are very friendly but do not know the English grammar, science or math at a higher level. There is no program for the preparing of student to return to Egypt.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

The parents we like to talk at dinners and lunches and talk about the teachers and administration and very bad they are. Many of the teachers are much too fat. That is all for the parents to do. No, there is no parent/teacher organization or school board. The owner of the school does not want this.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

There are many British schools and they are harder and much discipline. The American School of Kuwait is older and more larger. Al Bayan has all the teachers to quit and the English teaching very bad. UAS is bad if you want education, but good for socialisation and having fun.
