Bus, car, walk, train

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

The facilities need some help but a new school will open in 2011. There is a wide range of after school activities ranging from sports to drawing. ISL belongs to CEESA so the teams travel and play other schools in basketball, track and field, volleyball, soccer, etc.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

We transferred from the other "international" school which in my opinion is a local school with 70% of the students local and 100% of the teachers local. At ISL they really take the time to get to know each student and their needs as a learner. They have scored very high on the International Schools Assessment Tests which compares international schools performance.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

The PTO is very active and will provide many activities for you to become involved with.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

Do not even consider any other school than ISL. It is a world class school with the scores to prove it.
