The American school of Kuwait

In what town or city is this school located?

Hawalli

American, international

All

Bus

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

Many things to do but the people have the rich attitude. Facilities are awful no creativity, old nothing to look forward to. Depending on the teacher, most the ones had just were plane boring

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

No there is nothing, they have done nothing to help me transition from the U. S. They told me basically "you're on your own". All what they said was that it's a college prep school and it's going to be hard.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

There are some

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

If you are rich enough, might as well go to another country. I heard this was the best private school in Kuwait and it's worst than the public school in the panhandle of Florida. 4000 something for this education, no thanks.

A lot of bad teachers that just give a lot of work with no point. Nothing learned, nothing gained. Oh and did I mention how much drugs are around.

That's my experience, as bad as it gets. I have started to hate school so much I can't explain it.
