How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)

There is a regular, safe and compatable bus service to most expat areas of Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya. Some parents send and pick up their children from school everyday. There are numerous highway links to the school, including the KL-Putrajaya highway, South Klang Valley Expressway, LDP Expressway and North South Expressway Central Link (ELITE).

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

Spacious purpose built campus, giving plenty of space for learning out of the four walls of the classroom. The school is equipped with wireless Internet connection, which is important as the school places importance in learning using advanced ICT knowledge tools, such as the Smart Board and Mac laptops.

As the school is in Putrajaya, the school takes advantage of the great location and facilities in Putrajaya by offering extra curricular activities outside the school, such as water skiing and rock climbing. Other activities in school include swimming, tennis, fencing, computer art, taekwondo, musical drama and more.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

The School places importance in ensuring the correct year level placement. Each class is kept to a minimum of 24 students so that teachers can place more focus on the children. There is also ample support in English programmes for students who do not speak English as a first language.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

Parents are encouraged to come volunteer in classrooms, extra curricular activities, etc. There is a Parents, Teachers & Friends (PTF) Group which actively organises morning tea, charity events, bake sale, etc.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

This school is recommended for those who place importance in the learning process for a child. Students here do not only study, they are here to learn how to be global citizens of the future. The school places importance in learning inside and outside the classroom. Academic results play an important role but the school also believes that education is incomplete without creative and physical pursuits. The school is also a good platform for international students to meet with each other and learn the different cultures around them.
