Lots of clubs and activities.
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
Testing for grade placement, but the staff is their best feature, and they care about the whole student. Excellent counselors, and the teachers are the best I've seen in 3 countries.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
It's a small community, and the PTA is a good place to meet other parents, and their are many concerts, programs where you see others at the school. Lots of opportunity for parent involvement.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
It is wonderful. I was at first skeptical, due to the older appearance of the campus, and some of the leeriness of admissions staff, but I was so surprised. The upper school has a great counseling program for academics, issues, and college counseling. My daughter has a health problem, and the staff and teachers have been unbelievably wonderful in helping us through a rough time!
