International

How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)

I think most of the students come to school with a very well organised bus system. Alternative is public transport - very well established in Munich - or parents

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

The administrative offices and High school is located in an old castle. Middle and Lower school is located very modern and state-of-the-art buildings. There are many extra-curricular activities available that are updated every year.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

My children attended an international school before so there was not really a transition problem. I am not aware of any programs for repatriation which doesn't mean that there aren't any but I have never checked.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

There is an active PTO. In addition there are family get-togethers for the different geographic areas and grades

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

Munich is rather right on housing, if you want to avoid that your child becomes a long-distance commuter check very early for housing.
