Small overcrowded classrooms. No internet Old worn out whiteboards 'Barney' pink interior One or two at the most- copying machines No extra curricular activities

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

It would depend upon the teacher. If she is a dedicated licenced, experienced teacher, who goes above and beyond the duty, then the student will be well prepared. Many teachers were not qualified. They were not native English speakers, and were not equipped to handle a large (30-35 kids) classroom.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

Yes.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

This school was created as an incentive to recruit good doctors to the hospital compound. Only their children are allowed to attend the school. I come from a family of doctors, and if I had known the quality of the school, I would object to my husband accepting a position in the hospital in Al Hada.
