Laptop is a must to have. My two U.S. cell phones work here with a new chip from Vodafone phone service. Vodafone offers the best service plans. One other tip... to access our email, Amazon, banking, etc. they all want to send a code to my old U.S. phone number. Very lucky and pleased that my LycaMobile cell phone card from USA works in Romania and I can dial USA for free. Using my USA number here in Transylvania is a life saver. , Romania
