Do you have access to quality medical care? (Please describe - is it close? Expensive?)

Our Medical Care is basicly FREE. The Cypriot Govt introduced as NHS type of cover for all residents who are retired over 60 years of age. I have had two total hips replace and it cost me €16.00 in total. If not over 60 years then a good medical cover will be required to cover the costs. Very low crime. The odd burglary.

Describe available transportation where you live. Do you need a car? Is there access to safe public transportation?

We have always had the use of our car. However the public transport system is excellent. There is a very good bus service and even the villages have a small bus to visit twice a day and it is very cheap.

Is there high-speed internet access where you live?

Yes.

Do you have any other thoughts you would like to share about retiring abroad?

If thinking of retiring here in Cyprus. Do come on Holiday first and look around. There are lots of different areas to live. We prefer the quiet country life where others want the hustle and bustle of the City life.
