Apply for Zivno

The Czech Republic is a phenomenal destination that is loved by expats and digital nomads alike. Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, and it has so much to do and an energy that is palpable.

There is a slight rub, however, because there isn't a visa available that was created specifically for digital nomads. That won't matter for those who are able to fall within the criteria of Entrepreneur. This means you are not an employee of a company, but instead you provide services to clients and will obtain a trade license in the Czech Republic, which is known as a Zivnostenske opravneni or "Zivno." (You may hear people mistakenly refer to Zivno as a visa, but it is not a visa... it is a trade license.) Having a specialist firm help you with your visa is highly recommended since there is a specific process to follow in submitting all of the paperwork and it needs to be done in Czech.
