Children are taught primarily in French but includes 6 hours per week of English instruction in reading, grammer, history, and creative writing, which is at levels commiserate to English or American education systems.
There is a special course for new students to teach them the French.
There are various extra curricular activities offered during lunch and after school. These include chess, recorder, Spanish, needlework, and art clubs. Parents are invited to help or start new clubs that interest them.
We really like the balance we've found of being able to keep our children up to speed (or ahead of) in their English courses while at the same time being able to take advantage of all the French system has to offer.
