Guide to Obtaining Residency in Dominica

Obtaining a residency visa in Dominica is not always easy, but our Guide to Residency in Dominica gives newcomers an overview of the steps involved and advice from others who have already navigated the process.

  • Gather the necessary documents to apply for residency status in Dominica. These documents include a valid passport, a birth certificate, a marriage certificate (if applicable), a police clearance certificate, a medical certificate, and proof of financial means.
  • Complete the application form for residency status in Dominica. This form can be obtained from the Immigration Department.
  • Submit the application form and the necessary documents to the Immigration Department. This can be done in person or by mail.
  • Pay the applicable fees for the application. These fees can be paid in cash, by check, or by credit card.
  • Wait for the application to be processed. This can take up to six months.
