Boarding fees include tuition, room, and full board, loan of textbooks, most IT and laboratory fees, annual laptop maintenance, some classroom materials, most curriculum-related activities and field trips, travel insurance for school-sponsored trips, weekly linen service for bed linen and towels, access to free laundry facilities, and access to the on-campus Health Center.
For Grades 9–13, the Fall Travel Week is mandatory and is included; travel programs during the February and Spring breaks are optional and are subject to an additional charge.
For Grade 8, the Start-of-School bonding trip is mandatory and is included. School-sponsored February break travel is optional, and a travel credit (non-transferrable) will be available for eighth-grade boarders who enrolled at the start of the academic year. Other travel opportunities will be subject to an additional charge.
Boarding fees do not include private medical insurance, uniforms, varsity sports travel and equipment, costs of external exams such as the SAT, AP, or IB exams, charges related to vaccinations, or Child Student or Student Visa expenses.

Set in the beautiful Surrey countryside, our spacious 46-acre campus is close enough to London to take advantage of all the culture and excitement it offers for field trips and weekend activities. The TASIS boarding program provides a safe and welcoming home-away-from-home for students aged 13 to 18 (Grades 8-12).
In Upper School, our impressive academic offerings include Advanced Placement courses developed by the American College Board and the IB Diploma Programme. Both provide well-defined pathways to universities in the US, the UK, or anywhere in the world. A broad range of co-curricular, leadership, and service opportunities round out our students’ educational experience.
TASIS England also offers an award-winning residential Summer Program for ages 11-17. Our program attracts bright and adventurous students from around the world who take one major academic course and one elective, complemented by sports, activities, and weekend excursions. We offer two three-week sessions starting in late June and ending in early August.

Sports: The sports components of the Sports and Activities programs at TASIS England have always emphasized participation.

We expect members of our community to be engaged in the world and committed to using their knowledge and talents to make a lifelong impact on it.
Candidates for the IB Diploma study a range of subjects and choose courses from six areas: English, a second language, individuals and societies, experimental sciences, mathematics, computer science, and the arts. In addition, students must submit an extended essay (a 4,000-word research project), complete a course on the philosophies of learning and knowing (Theory of Knowledge), and take part in community service.
The IB Diploma Programme culminates in an examination period at the end of two years of study, and final grades are based on both achievement on the exams and course grades.TASIS is also a member of the IB Schools and Colleges Association (IBSCA).
The PARENTS section is sponsored by the TASIS England Parent Association (TPA) and the Parents' Information and Resource Committee (PIRC). Whether you are an experienced mover or relocating to the UK is your first big move, it will take you some time to feel comfortable in your new surroundings. Sometimes just knowing where to begin to look for information is the hardest part.
Our goal is to provide a valuable resource for new and existing TASIS parents who want a quick and easy place to see what is happening at TASIS. We hope to provide a central location for information about the valuable programs sponsored by the TPA and PIRC, as well as offering opportunities for parents to get involved in the life of the TASIS community, including sports and the arts.
