Adjustment Period

So I understand the typical period of adjustment is normallly around 6 months. I am at 9 months and finally am getting the rhythym of the place.I apologize about my last post.I don't hate The DR, it's the constant injustice and a slight change in perspespective has helped. I help when I can and pray if I can't. I live in the Capital and I think my partner (Dominican) is a bit paranoid about my safety so he often adds fear into the mix which doesn't really help.I know Im not in New York anymore but yesterday EVEYRTHING I ate was processed and Made in America with Netflix. It really helped a lot. Just a chicken caesar salad and tostitos with that cheap cheesy dip. I just wish the US Embassy could speed up. ONLY IF huh???? Thanks for listening.
