Thanks
I'm not certain how it will work. I'm actually moving by faith. I already parted with my job at home and am here on a vacation. Don't even know if I have enough for airfare yet.

If you don't even know if you have the $$$ for airfare, then you best get back to your old stomping grounds a BEG for your old job back. Faith alone WILL NOT get you around the block, especially in Central America!

I'll get my airfare. The issue will be the hidden fees. My old job was filled in disguise. After I left on leave it was filled and the leave denied.

Hi..I am a retired teacher. I simply talked personally with the minister of Education. He told me I could teach in any school in Belize as far as he was concerned. I have volunteered in some of the schools....

You still need a work permit to earn a salary teaching , which is what the lady in question needed to do

Does that mean "volunteer" or actually get paid for your teaching. I am retiring this year as a math teacher and from what I've read there is a great need for qualified teachers in Belize. I have pondered the thought of teaching if there is a need in the Corozal area, perhaps even the junior college there.

Hi..I volunteered for free in an Anglican school. The teachers are most appreciative for anything..even a Sharpie.. It is a good idea to befriend the principal first...
