Well I'm am all for some kind of cut off! Living in Texas it has gotten so bad that we are tired of the influx of criminals! There are killings daily performed by illegal immigrants on innocent people. Something has got to change and Democrats need to pull their heads out of their asses and stop just hating Trump! This issue isn't about Trump!! Its about the American people and the protection we deserve as citizens!

Oh please!! Don't be an ass! I don't condone acts of "pussy grabing" but I really don't condone the murdering of innocent people on a daily basis! You probably don't have a problem with it, or their policy on killing children as well. There is a way to make this all work and one is to reform our immigration laws. This isn't a free for all country and there isn't a country on the face of the earth that is. For you to think otherwise shows your idiocracy of life. I'm tired of people like you that think your know everything and people that don't think the same are stupid or have no real grasp on life. Go find yours! This site should just be for information on Belize, not yours or Dr. Allen's platform for political spew! Ugh

You raise a good point about how serious a mistake it might be to eliminate funds that help countries like Belize in the Western Hemisphere maintain themselves. It is really a tiny fraction compared to the billions US sends to other nations for support. If the goal is to reduce migration for opportunity (the vast majority of immigration), it makes sense to shift some of our investment to our own side of the Atlantic to stabilize Central American and Caribbean nations, and encourage their citizens' desire to stay home.

As far as is Known Belize is not sending migrants in these mass caravans,, It's people are not running from their homes in fear for their lives, and to protect their children.
. This discussion would be better served on the forums of those Countries who's people are.

I just wonder how much of that 500 billion/annum found its way into the offshore bank accounts of the leaders.

He isn't. The threat of the wall and border closings is driving them, plus certain entities are funding them. Remember, Democrats want new voters.

But why are they all coming now? Mexico has offered many asylum but they refuse. Because of all the freebie stuff in the US - many resources which should go toward our own poor and homeless first. The rampant medieval disease in CA is extremely disturbing.

CLK - Please go away. You have never been to Belize. the Belizeans in the US go legally (The US actually has Belizeans serving in our military). Belize is a very different situation than Gautemala and El Salvador, which is where the vast majority of these people are coming from (and some from Honduras). From someone who lives here (and not in the US and came toBelize once for a few days several years ago), I think I have a much better perspective on this (BE HONEST AND TELL EVERYONE RIGHT NOW HOW MANY DAYS YOU HAVE EVER BEEN IN BELIZE IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE). STOP IT!

The Belize Illegal numbers in Belize is very small, actually a lot less than the number of Illegal europeans. They come in by air and overstay the visa's. none of this has anything to do with the numbers fleeing their countries in fear of their liives.
I am glad you are enjoying your postings your to annoy actual expats as you say "popping bubbles" It is not enjoyable to anyone else.
