Can anyone recommend a courier/delivery service to ship about 10 pounds of clothes to my friend in Curitiba from Atlanta. From past experience post office is expensive and takes over a month. thank you

you may already know this but are you sure the friend needs those clothes from the States? The cost in import fees is going to be very expensive as they will charge an import fee for each the items in the package and the friend will be required to pay this at the post office or port of entry that is holding the package. This could be several hundred US Dollars. Brazil taxes everything and maybe your friend might be better off buying clothes in country.

Hi, Normally the Brazilain authority imposes taxes for imorting clothes etc but now there is a limit of the values of those clothes according to the Brazilain Market price. So if the authority finds the values of those clothes do not exceed more than 100 US Dollar so there will be no need of extra money to be paid to the post or the sea port authority. Well, please check the lattest laws and regulations through the govt web site of taxes etc.
