Watching Streaming Services on my Laptop

I never had a problem before--subscribed to Netflix (without a VPN or US phone number), to Amazon Prime, Hulu . . . Now all of a sudden, they won't let me watch (most recently, Amazon Prime) citing me for using a VPN number, advising me to disable it, and of course I can't get back on Amazon. I just tried to get back on Netflix and I get as far as writing my 3-digit CVN number on my debit card, then I get disconnected. I even used Skype to call their customer service and all she could advise me to do was open a new account using a different e-mail address. Huh? I'll still have to cross the Rubicon, either with being unable to give them a US tel. number for them to text me the "Open Sezame" code or getting blitzed when I write the last bit of my card info, that being the CVN 3-digit number. Are we now outcasts? Is there ANY international stream on demand service that accommodates gringos living abroad? I really don't want to "get a TV" and be subjected to a selection of a handful of regular shows.
