Everyone for good and many reasons curses the Migración Colombia website.

For at least two months the "English" option for pages at the website lead to dead ends and frustration, required data-entry fields like "place of birth" blocked.

I manged a few weeks ago, as a U.S. citizen, to stay in Colombia beyond my granted 90 days as a tourist. Of course, I tried at the immigration website to extend my time for another 90 days ... using multiple computers, multiple web-browsers, Android and iPhone cell phones. The website doesn't work.

Interestingly, an immigration lady at the immigration office in Medellin (Belen) told me that, in her opinion, their website "is great," No wonder they don't fix it.

I consequently have to go to Panama for a day this week, pay a penalty for being in Colombia illegally now for a month.

Does anyone know approximately what fine amount I will need to pay?

Thank you. I don't need lifestyle advice. I live in Medellin. I want only to know people's experiences with paying immigration fines and where, at the airport in Rionegro, I go to pay.
