E-Visa

I just received my 5 year E-visa. I know I have to get the stamp into my passport and I have two weeks to do so upon arriving in Colombia.
The letter doesnt give me an address or hours of operation of where to go.

Is anyone familiar with this process? I will only have a few days to get this done.

Make your appointment online at this link:

https://www.migracioncolombia.gov.co/agendarsucita

You will get a confirmation email and a link to fill out the FUT form that has to be completed before you go. If I recall correctly, they also ask you to pay for your cedula at that time, and you will need a Colombian method of payment (like PSE or Nequi).

The address of the location will be on the website and will be provided in the email.

If you have the .pdf of your visa, print it out before you go to the airport. You may have to show it there, and they will want to see it at immigration.

I’m impressed at the speed and precision of this reply. It seems to be exactly what I was looking for.
The payment part seems to be a speed bump because I never heard of PSE nor Nequi .
What about cash or credit card?
Is this normally a one day process on day of appointment?

The Migraciones website would not accept a US credit card when I did the process back in June, so my wife paid through her local account.

I am not sure what options you have, but you can't be the only person in that situation - it probably happens every day. If you can't find information on how to handle payment on the Migraciones website, I would go through the online process without paying and show up at the appointment - they may be able to take a credit card payment at the location.

I hope somebody else on the forum will have a better answer for you.

The problem is I am in the United States and am planning to take a week off work to go to Colombia to get my stamp.

I got to the FUT but there was no option for my issue.

stuck at the moment

" I never heard of PSE nor Nequi" .

Nequi is an excellent app for your cellular but you need a Cedula number for it to work.

You can deposit to, or withdraw money from your account at any corresponsal de bancolombia such as Multipagos. Totally free to use.

My US Chase bank credit card was accepted online to start marriage visa application. Visa was emailed to me in 8 days. Print your visa, fill out online form for cedula, go online for appointment however they let people without appointment enter after the line was empty in Medellin. The guard at the door spoke no English when asked what to do. He pointed to the seats. In the corner separate from migration officials is a glassed in booth. Go directly to booth without sitting down. Gentlemen spoke good English and went through my paperwork that everything was in order. Then sit and wait and wait. Finally you will be called to migration official. I was able to pay for my cedula at that point with my same US Chase credit card. You will be fingerprinted and photographed. I had to return to the office one week later to pick up my cedula. Don’t wait outside in line when you go back. Tell the guard cedula pick up and you go immediately inside.

The first question on the FUT asks for the procedure. The nearest answer seems to be “Foreign ID”. I’m trying to register my visa so is foreign ID the right option ?

They ask about Expedition Country. Is that the US or Colombia.

Can anyone help?
