Potential move

Good morning everyone. I just joined the forum with the intent of picking your brains for some solid advice. My wife and I live just north of Toronto and have always wanted to move to Costa Rica. We are thinking that we would spend six months, from November of 2021 to April of 2022 exploring Costa Rica with the end result of finding a location to move to as a final destination. We were hoping to spend two months in three different and distinct geographical locations, totalling the aforementioned 6 months. I would appreciate your thoughts as to where you would spend some time exploring and getting to know the areas. For the record, I enjoy playing some golf and would like to be reasonably close to a course or two and my wife really enjoys birding. Thank you in advance for your time and your thoughts.

Very good idea to stay for a period of two months in 'potential' places and checking out the area.

Golf is quite an expensive sport here, due to most courses being part...read expensive...of a large hotel. The are only a few in the Central valley that are open to the public.

Note too, that since it is dark by 6 pm, year round, there is no chance to get in a round after supper when it is cooler &
cheaper.

Birding is great everywhere!!!
