Does anyone know where I can rent a nice 3-bedroom apartment near San Jose at a reasonable/affordable price or where to go to find one; i.e, a newspaper or another resource where I can browse articles and photos?

Turnkey Hotel in Alajuela, Alajuela for rent with nice live in quarters. Looking to sell or rent the property. Another option is to find a live in security person to manage and take care of the property
