wealth tax

After reading this post I realized I am certainly not looking for another place to live for the same reason allot of other people are. I am not looking to hang onto my wealth, I guess in a way I am, and the small amount of my parents life saving my be considered wealth by many people but it is less than what Obama would consider taxing in the wealth category.
So my interest is in not having to work 50 - 60 hours a week for $500 a week because I have 1,400 $ mortgage which I will never pay off, I do not and cannot afford health insurance here, I just pray I dont get sickas well as I will never be able to spend time with my mother whom I hope to take care of should she live into her 90's
and once she is gone she is gone forever and I could not spend quality time because of the almighty dollar.
I believe it is not right that some people have a disproportionate amount of the wealth while others could not write a check for $500. to save their lives.
I am not just thinking of $$ I am thinking of time,
Can anyone on this exchange relate to me in those terms.?
