I entered EC @ Rumichaca, can I exit @ San Miguel Puente International?

Has anyone ever crossed into Colombia at Rio San Miguel?

I entered Ecuador at Rumichaca with MY COLOMBIAN plated car and would like to exit at the border crossing at Rio San Miguel.

How is the the condition of E45?

I registered my Colombian car, like you should, with the EC transito office at Rumichaca, they give you the document which you must drop off with them as you exit Ecuador, can I drop this document off at the Rio San Miguel office? Just want to keep things straight and good standing as I will visit/drive into Ecuador again in the future.

Anyone experience or suggestions/advice please! I need to determine if this is possible.

I am in Cuenca now and will be heading north in the next few days so appreciate your speedy comments.

BTW - I completed my "bucket" wish of covering the complete coast, from San Lorenzo at the north to Salinas and El Morro at the south end, I covered/drove every meter of this roughly 800km and what an eye opener, loved it, all the fishing villages and the towns and cities along the way.
