Visiting and want to go to Inca Ruins

Hello,
I am in Cuenca next week Tuesday to Thursday and want to go to the ruins. There are no tours available on those days, so thought I might find a private tour person to take us. We found a private group in Quito and they took us several different days, it was great.
Any ideas or suggestions?

We used the tour company for a full day private tour to several small towns outside of Cuenca: https://polylepistours.com/
They can probably get you a driver and get you where you want to go. We saw their sign when walking around in the old town area of Cuenca on our 3 week stay in Cuenca last Feb. Our driver was great and spoke relatively good English. It was great to have a good guide who was flexible in making small adjustments to some of the stops normally taken on the same tour when done in small groups. It was just slightly more than a group tour. Check out their website, find a tour your like and contact them to see how they might be able to accommodate you. Have a great trip and hope you like Cuenca as much as we did. Be sure to do both sections of the hop on hop off bus. Thst gave us a nice overview of many parts of the city and some amazing views from higher elevations.

If your talking about the ruins of Ingapirca, I have driven there several times. The park itself gives the tours and they do so in Spanish and in English. I believe you can simply, and probably more cheaply simply take a bus from the Cuenca bus terminal to Ingapirca. Or take a bus to Canar, and from there take a taxi to the ruins at ingapirca. Goodluck and enjoy your trip!

MOST HOSTELS HAVE BROCHURES FROM TOUR AGENTS THEY ALL GO TO THE RUINS ALSO ALMOST ALL RUN TOURS 7 DAYS A WEEK IN EITHER SMALL GROUPS OR WITH LAGER GROUPS . IF YOU CAN GET THERE WITH PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE AND YES TOURS ARE GIVEN BY PARK ATTENDANTS . GOOD LUCK

We hired Orlando several times for trips out of Cuenca (Ingipara, National Park). We found him to be a very good guide , a safe and alert driver, and pleasant to spend time with. My wife and I spent 2 very enjoyable trips with him and learned a lot about the area. Happy to recommend him.
