quito to tena

Have visited Ecuador many times. This time my traveling companion will be joining me two weeks after I arrive.
I am thinking of going to Tena for a few days. I used rome2rio to find the possible ways to get there...bus is the answer. My question is can anyone recommend a private driver who speaks English (my Peace Corps Spanish from 48 years ago is rusty, very rusty)
Or if anyone has opinions about the various bus lines or any other info, I would be interested in hearing about them
thanks
Liz

My friend Marcelo at Latin Frontiers is highly reliable and just a wonderful guy. The company took care of all our arrangements for a ten-day visit this past August and did a fantastic job. Highest recommendation. He speaks great English too!
