Hi All,
You are probably like I am, you want to know what 'new' people are saying about areas where you've lived or consider living and read the Culture Shock posts. I wrote about Jama a LONG time ago - way before the earthquake - and it continues to pop up as if it were a recent addition. Not online often, I have written expat exchange twice and asked to no longer share it, because it's deceiving and does not give any updates about what it's like there now. I think that the Bahia report might also be pre-earthquake.

I no longer live in Jama, but the people of the area remain my dear friends. I enjoy returning, but w/Covid changes I've not been there in almost a year.

Perhaps there's someone who lives in the area who can provide an update on how things are in Jama. (and Bahia.)
