its been awhile since ive been here....2004....but,things seldom change here. just be careful as you will be targeted cause ur not from fiji. A walking cash cow,in blunt terms. even if you claim residency etc(lived here a yr) , you are a source of revenue and YOU WILL BE EXPLOITED!! not so much by the hindis(indian locals) but by the black fijians. they do like you and are not racist, but still they will lie about prices and try to sucker you for extra money,almost everywhere. be careful hiring help also, they will embezzle cloths,food,ANYTHING!!and you might not notice for example, the whole chicken in the fridge has been cut up(how nice) but the breast and wings have flown away!.boat tours,taxi fares,any event,etc etc etc, you will notice you have paid 2x3 times more than joe bula fiji.WATCH UR BELONGINGS,WATCH UR HOUSE AND WATCH UR BACK,THEY SMILE BUT...THEY WILL ROB YOU IF U ACT LIKE U DONT CARE ETC!!!
