requirements for being a teacher in germany

Hi,
I have relocated from india to frankfurt with my husband and child. I have a B.ed degree from india and a TESOL certificate as well. Can any body tell me that what are the teaching qualifications in germany. as I didnt get a job in the kindergarten as they said my degree was not valid.
