my husband and i are planning to relocate to guatemala. he is a computer analyst. his company has offered him the opportunity to continue to work for them from guatemala provided we obtain all necessary documentation. i am not sure, but i think it will require residency.
can anyone recommend an attorney who could help me arrange this?

Hi Charleen,
Actually if you work out of the internet and you bill in the states you could do that on a tourist visa (you get one for 3 months renewable once) To get the residency you would have to either show that you are retired or make a business here. I can recommend you a lawyer her name is Ada Redondo join her at
