Health care in Guatemala

My husband is from Guatemala. I am a nurse here in the US. I am in the process of getting my Nurse Practitioners certification. Our eventual goal is to open a clinic in Guatemala. Anyone have any advice where to open a clinic? Also, my husband is worried that I won't adjust well to living in Guatemala. If anyone would like to give me some pointers, it would be greatly appreciated.

First thing in order for you to work as a nurse here you will need to be approved by the government. Your US title is not internationally recognized. Where to open a clinic, depends a lot but for nurse services you have to spend some times here and make some market study to see where your project will fit the best.
Regarding adjusting to Guatemala's lige well it is a question of attitude and it all depends where your husband is from but for sure there is plenty of expat married with locals and they seems to be doing fine...
