Missing Person

My daughter was traveling across the America's on a cycle for past 6 months, and entered Guatemala on Feb 14 at Melchor de Mencos on the border with Belize. Since then we have had no news from her and she is not reachable on her phone or email. Any suggestions of how one may find out where she may be, and any resources for tracing missing travelers? Thanks in anticipation.

How worrying for you; I am sure she is OK. But, in these circumstances your best start is the embassy for your country of residence in Guatemala City. I would call them first thing tomorrow morning.
Good Luck.
