Buying a home in Antigua

Post New Topic

My wife and I are looking at buying a house in Antigua. We are retired and have lived in Antigua for several months. We have an agent from Nova Antigua. They have recommended a lawyer to oversee the transaction.

I have done a lot of research and other than quality of life it looks like it should be a good investment. What kind of experiences have people had with purchasing a home? How much is home insurance that includes earthquake coverage? It looks like furniture is significantly lower in cost and large kitchen appliances and electronics are comparable in cost if not sightly more. Is that what you have found?

Many thanks for your inputs.
