hill station real estate

Please let me know if anyone has purchased realestate in any of the hill stations in India.
looking for cooler climate.
However have heard that there is water problem.
Also we would not be renting our property out during our absence.So i guess the choice is to purchase an apartment instead of a villa.
Please share your experience

Some time back I had purchased a summer house in Mussoorie and believe in most of hill stations it is always tussle for resources that you have be in from incoming tourists. Better option will be to look for not to frequent places like Lansdownie etc.. You can also put your ad in local classifieds specifying exactly what you are looking for.. here is one link for you..
