Hello Expats:
I have been travelling to Italy since 1994 and thinking of relocating sometime in the next two years. Everything I read sounds like its a dream come true. It is? Will I miss America? Really want to hear from any American living initaly

So Misty, you have been to Italy since 1994, and you are going to move there permanently after a number of trips there?

Living it Italy is different than visting Italy, just like every other country. Europe is NOT like America.
If you want to discuss the cultural and social differences, just ask, and I'm sure a lot of us will have something to add, like Carmine.

But first, find out what you THINK you'd miss about America if you left. And then see if it is replaceable with something else. Then it's simply a matter of plug-and-play!

Italy IS magical, and I plan on going back soon, myself. Personally, I don't think I will miss too many things about America when I go. They both have great things about them, but sometimes you gotta be, where ya wanna be, ya know? :)
