Hello,

I moved to Italy 6 months ago on a self-employed visa.

I'm at a point when I need to do my partita iva (i'm a freelance programmer).

Any special tax regimes for people like me?

Thanks

Sectionone- National tax rate - Flat rate of 5% for first five years. No deductions allowed.
Also, You have the option to pay SE (self employed) taxes to the states or Italy. Italy’s rate is around 26%; US is 15.3%. See Naturalization agreement between US and Italy. You have a window of three months to choose.

But I'm not a US citizen...
I'm Israeli.
Where can i find out if there is something for me?

Commercialistas seem to be giving me mixed information.

Also, what worries me more is the social security rates.
I heard somewhere that it might be possible to continue paying it in my country for the first 2 years or something like that..
