If a child, born in the us to a Jamaican citizen, is living in Jamaica (with one parent) and the child passport expires, is the child forced to return to the states.

Hello,
I think your best bet is to contact the American/Jamaican Embassy. Could be that your Child is entitled to Dual Nationality.

Tche Child has dual citizenship for sure but to be safe you should apply for a Jamaican Passport. I am a Canadian Citizen but I carry a Jamaican Passport also
