Hi everybody

Thank you guys for all the replies. I appreciate all the input and advice, some good and some not so good. I have done a lot of research, as much as I can, just from websites like this one and such. My boyfriend has been in the U.S. since he was 2 yrs old. So he really knows nothing about Mexico, he's basically americanized, he has a GED which is better than nothing, and he is HVAC certified. And where he is at now(jail) he is working as and learning to be an electrician. Also he is taking classes to be an ACE certified personal trainer, they have classes in there, he bought the books, and once the classes are done he has to take the test, it's like $200 so it's the real thing. He is very smart, just DUMB at the same time!! His family lives here in the U.S., he still has family that goes back & forth from Mexico, and his family is great. I live with his mom & dad. I'm just trying to get all the info I can, while I can. I would like to go back to school, but I've put school on hold, and I have now a pretty good job that I'd hate to give up, but I do not want it to be my life long job either. I work for a pharmacy and they do tuition reimbursement, but I just don't have the time to go to school. And maybe my man won't get deported. Currently he has a immigration hold on him, like i said he has been here most of his life, however his parents had to pay a lot of fees for crossing the border illegally and i guess it's a lengthy process. And unfortunately he never became a citizen. He was in the process when he went to prison of getting his legal residency or something but it just never happened. So I'm in this perdicument that I have no clue anything of. I just know that I love him and I'll do what I have to to be with him. Thanks!
